The UUA helps to strengthen the capacity of UUs to organize for justice and mobilize power and people for liberation. Our mobilization efforts focus on organizing and include service, education, advocacy, and public witness (the spiritual practice of taking a public position in support of justice).

Responding to Authoritarianism
As the landscape of U.S. politics and activism rapidly transformed in 2025, the UUA’s Organizing Strategy Team started intensive work developing a toolkit to help UUs become more engaged, effective, and safe in the struggle for justice: “Grounded, Resilient, and Responsible: Responding and Organizing in Authoritarian Times.”
Wayfinder Helps UUs Navigate Their World
UU World launched its new free newsletter, Wayfinder, to help UUs and others navigate their journeys through inspiration, resources, exclusive content, and community connection steeped in our shared values.
