Joint Regional Assembly

This year the UUA held a Joint Regional Assembly, bringing together Unitarian Universalists in two physical locations (Denver, Colorado and Madison, Wisconsin). This multiplatform event brought together over 500 participants at both locations and online. The Keynote was a historic conversation between the Rev. Dr Sofía Betancourt, UUA President and the Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia A. Thompson, General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ. Both leaders are Black women at the helm of major religious traditions.
